Cracked powder makeup, a ripped Beautyblender, running out of lash glue – these are some things a makeup-lover would consider tragic. None of them are as bad as finding out a favorite beauty product is getting discontinued. That’s why when we heard Huda Beauty’s rose gold eye shadow palette may be on its way out, we didn’t want to believe it, but the brand’s rep confirmed it to POPSUGAR: rose gold is officially discontinuing in October.
Some fans got the hint when Huda Beauty reposted a photo of swatches with a caption that read it “may be your last chance” to buy the palette at Sephora (where the $65 palette is now totally sold out).
If you missed it at Sephora, fear not. You can get the rose gold assortment on Huda’s official website as well as selfridges.com . . . but you better act quick. We have a feeling there’ll be a mad rush to collect one before they run out.
If you’re wondering why we have to part ways with one of Huda’s most beloved creations, it’s because she has the newly revealed Desert Dusk palette coming Sept. 18. The good news is there are a lot of similar-looking metallic, pink, and orange colors and even more variety in shadow textures, from the mattes you know and love to pure glitter and a new, layerable iridescent pearl. Not all is lost!
